An Evening with... Tim Moore

  • The Dynamo 200-204 Putney Bridge Road London, England, SW15 2NA United Kingdom (map)

Travel writer/cycling adventurer Tim Moore - described as "Bill Bryson on two wheels" by the Independent - has taken on some of the most extreme bike rides in the world and lived to tell the tale.

In 2016, he rode the 9000-mile route of the old Iron Curtain on an old East German shopping bike.

In 2013, he stepped back in time to ride on the 3000-mile route of the 1914 Giro d'Italia (reckoned to be the hardest race in history), riding a gearless, wooden-wheeled original bike from 1914.

Tim's book French Revolutions, an account of his struggle round the Tour de France route, has been described as a must-read for anyone who loves or hates France.

Tim will be sharing the revealing and funny lessons and stories of his maverick bike rides (and other travel adventures) in a special evening at Putney's cycling cafe The Dynamo on 17 July.

Tim will be in conversation with former Procycling magazine writer and regular Dynamo event host Duncan Steer.

Our acclaimed pizzas will be half price on the night with your ticket.
